SPI Honored at PHIVIDEC IA’s 50th Anniversary Locators Night Celebration

SPI was recognized with multiple prestigious awards during the PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority’s (PHIVIDEC IA) Locators Night Celebration, marking its 50th year anniversary held recently at the Limketkai Luxe Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City. Among the accolades, SPI was celebrated as the "Best in Corporate Social Responsibility" for the third consecutive year, underscoring its unwavering commitment to community development and social impact.
In addition, SPI was also recognized as the "Most Accommodating Site Tour Locator," ranked as the second biggest investor, and acknowledged for being one of the highest employers within the estate.
PHIVIDEC IA, a Government-Owned and Controlled Corporation (GOCC), was established under Presidential Decree No. 538 signed by former President Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr. on August 13, 1974. The corporation is tasked with managing the 3,000-hectare industrial estate located in Tagoloan and Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, with a mission to drive socio-economic growth and development in the region.
