In line with our commitment to ensuring a safe working environment, a three-day In-House Occupational First Aid Training was recently conducted by the Philippine Red Cross Oro. This comprehensive program, organized by SPI's REHSS Department, aimed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to act as emergency responders and effectively handle workplace emergencies.
The training program was thoughtfully designed to provide participants with a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in dealing with common workplace emergencies. Through practical exercises and simulations, employees were allowed to apply their learning and enhance their response capabilities in real-life scenarios. A total of 37 SPI employees, cadet engineers, and contractors actively participated in the training, showcasing their dedication to creating a safe and secure working environment for all.
By investing in this First Aid Training, we acknowledge the critical importance of preparedness and the invaluable role that employees can play in emergencies. We believe that equipping our workforce with life-saving skills not only enhances their capabilities but also strengthens the overall safety culture within the organization. Our commitment to employee welfare and our continuous efforts to promote safety remain unwavering.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the Philippine Red Cross for their partnership and expertise in delivering this invaluable training. We also commend all participants for their active engagement and dedication throughout the program. Together, we will continue to foster a safe and secure workplace environment where employees feel empowered to respond effectively in times of need.
Remember, safety starts with every one of us. Stay prepared, stay vigilant, and together let's make safety a top priority at SPI.
