CSR as a way of Life
Among the fundamental steps we have undertaken is to ensure that each employee understands the reason behind CSR and what it is all about. There is a direct link between what the organization is, what it actually does, and what the employees perceive.
More than ever, our best ambassadors have always been our own employees. Our corporate social responsibility framework is built around the philosophy of caring for the community in which we live and work.
At the workplace, we put premium on employee welfare by ensuring a healthy and safe work environment. Our employee programs focus on championing CSR from within, such as doing periodic dialogues and keeping communication lines open, instituting fair rewards and reasonable incentives system, aggressively pursuing health and wellness programs, and promoting work-life balance. We practice the principles of CSR in every aspect of our work and our life.
When our people are “on board,” everything and everyone else fall into place. This is a simple operating principle but has worked for me and, perhaps, for everyone else.
